SPN - 9.23 - "Do You Believe In Miracles"

That? Was the most satisfying (read: "We have to wait until October? Where's all the good fic?") season finale we've had in years.

I know LJ is a ghost town now, but dudes. That? Oh em gee. Yes, it was a lot of "re-staging" of old stuff. Yes, I figured Dean's eyes would be black when he opened them. No, I don't know how I feel about that, other than significantly freaked. But dudes.

I said to George a couple of times when Sam was holding a dead Dean and Dean opened his demon eyes, "Someone's been watching old episodes."

But still. I'm . . . Yikes. I'm pumped (compared to recent season enders). I'm a bit apprehensive.

And I'm really disappointed that every. single. angel. that remembers their mission is to protect humanity gets offed (with the exception of Castiel, of course). Why did Gadreel have to die, while Metatron lives? Seriously? Meh.

And Crowley sitting vigil? That was weird. Crowley with a bit of humanity. At least there's a reason for him to be sympathetic. (Otherwise, I'd be highly suspicious. Okay, I'm highly suspicious of Crowley anyway, but you know what I mean, I hope.)

Okay, so there is a way to cure "demonism." The question is, how are they going to go about doing it? I'm actually antsy about this.

Oh, my poor Dean.

As Jensen said, "They actually went there."

Yikes.
