Something must have gotten lost in translation. (See the *sob* above.)

I'm not happy that they killed Gabe. I should have seen it coming, because Richard is an awesome guest star--but I didn't. I'm annoyed that Kripke & Co. keep killing off their awesome guest stars. I guess after this long, I'm getting used to it, though. But he went out fighting, and he sided with God. And he gave the Boys information and a goal and a way to avert the Apocalypse.

I'm sad to see him go, also. But you figure they are ending this storyline completely, so all guns are blazin! No loose ends. Fresh start. No one is safe except Dean and Sam. *crosses fingers for a few others*

True, that! I just read somewhere that this finale will be very much like a *series* finale, because that's what they thought it would be. And I believe Kripke asked for extra money to "make it good." So I don't imagine many people will be left standing. Still, am very sad our Trickster is gone.

Just hope they don't kill the Impala again, like in S1...

That woman who played Kali - WHERE have I seen her before??? It's driving me crazy.

One more thought: 4-star hotel? Is it the 1950's again? 'Cause that would've been 4-star in the Catskills in the time of the Rat Pack. Snerk.

Yes, but no Kevin Sorbo ;)

I had heard that Kevin was at the Rome con????? Idek. But people have been asking if KS is going to play God. I think it might be wishful thinking on someone's part, but having a Herc actor (or even an SG-1 actor) show up playing the god they played on his/her respective series would have been hilarious.

Yeah, It would - and you know Herc would be on the side of humanity, LOL.

(and think of the promo pictures they could have done of Kevin and Jensen playing golf together)

*sob* not too much my friends! I am not yet ready to write Gabriel off. Yeah Luci stuck him... yeah... he fell down... yeah his wings came out... Not good signs. However... he tricked Kali before and he said to Dean "What, you think I'm dumb enough to bring in my real sword?" Sooooo.... until the season/Show ends with no further sight of Gabriel- I'm thinking he could pop up again having tricked Lucifer. But if not... *SOB*!!! *SOBBY SOBBY SOB*!!!

And p.s. Lederhosen!

Nope, I think Gabster is gone for good. They've pulled the bait-and-swtich too many times that if it isn't for real this time, it doubly decreases the impact of the scene. I think he went into that fight knowing he wasn't coming out. That's why he gave Dean the DVD. I'm thrilled Gabster went down fighting, and I can't wait for iTunes to get the ep up so I can see the conversation between Dean and Gab that got lost in transmission last night from our affiliate.

I think I'ma hunker down for the rest of the season and get used to the idea that no one but the Boys is getting out of this one. *sob*

Oh, and regarding the leather shorts and suspenders . . . you need to get an LJ account so I can friend you and you can read my locked posts. Just sayin'.

They've pulled dumber stunts. (Than bringing Gabriel back simply because it suits them.) But YES, the scene between him and Lucifer rocked the house. The two actors played off each other really, really well.

I know- it's on my massive "to do" list. Mourning the Trickster/Gabriel is not! I'm holding my breath til he comes back I swear!! (Adam came back!... Then went away again... hmmm)

And just to toss it out there. Although overall I liked the episode I was bummed at all the deity offing. Much like I was when Xena-Sue started ganking Greek gods. For one, it wipes out a plethera of kool characters (I mean Ganesh just rocked with that elephant in the room) And also it brings up the stick point of is Lucifer is that powerful with just pocky-Nick... what the heck does he need Sam for?

I keep waiting for the vessels storyline to get cool- but instead it gets dumb and dumberer (IMO).

Thank goodness the Purty still outways the dumb.

Ganking Cas? I don't wanna know! Nothing about Misha's contract or lack of contract *sticks fingers in ears* LA-LA-LA-LA LA!

Well, Luci doesn't need Sam for *power*--just for staying ability. And for the pretty. You know, the whole "masquerading as an angel of light" thing works much better on people if your host doesn't look like a plague victim. ;)

Sam Winchester's pretty: Lucifer's secret weapon to subdue the earth, y/y?

And Sam's nose. Don't forget that. (With nods to Refur.)

I don't doubt for a second that the Purty has a lot do with Luci wanting Sam. (I wrote a whole fic about that being his ONLY reason) Who wouldn't want a smokin' bod while they off some Pagan gods? ;-)

But they keep making such an issue of Lucifer being able to take over the world once he's got said smokin' bod but not before. And now they're showing that he's perfectly capable of causing mass destruction of various powerful opponents even being all pock-marked and oogie. It just muddles the whole "Luci and Mike can't do their thing til Sam and Dean say 'Yes'" if they have Lucifer shown doing his thing. All very muddled and confusing to me...

But Purty... still very very Purty!

Gou'ald summit!!!!!

Hahahaha, yes! So glad I wasn't the only person whose brain went there. I like SPN's Kali better than SG-1's because she was scarier (as befits a god/goddess of destruction) and the SPN people actually gave her the string of heads that is Kali's signature accessory whereas the SG-1 costume department (which I always felt was sadly lacking in mythology buffs) just gave her some random Hindu-esque outfit with a big hat.

Gabe chooses a side! Team Free Will has another member!!!! \o/

*sob* THEY KILLED GABE!!!

I KNOW!!!! SO AWESOME!! SO SAD!!! *cries*
