Just saw this story on Good Morning America . . .

. . . and I can't help but cry. Thank God for people who are willing to look out for each other, even at risk of themselves.

Boston train driver's quick thinking saves a life

From a different security camera

GMA interviewed the driver. She'd been contacted previously to use caution because of a different issue (the platform was heavy? . . . don't know what that means), and when Ms. Lewis saw the man leaning over the tracks and waving frantically, she was watching him because she was afraid he was going to fall.

When the woman got up, Ms. Lewis counted limbs, made sure the woman was okay.

The woman who fell has been identified (I forget her name). I think they said she was a hospital employee, and that she refused medical treatment. Per the report, she'd had four beers, and was crushing out a cigarette with her foot when she fell.

Just . . . how frightening. And wonderful that no one was hurt.
