I come by my fannishness honestly. It's genetic or something.
Me, too! My dad was/is a total fanboy. It's kind of cute to watch, really. He was also really into comic books, back in the day. And I got him Roy Rogers DVD's for his birthday and he loved them. Adorkable.
Someday, I will write a post about how, in fact, my fannishness is genetic. Before VCRs, my grandma would watch my mom's soap and take notes for her when we were on vacation, for example. My mom took me to the shopping mall appearances of our fave soap actors. My first attendance to a professional stage production was a production of Oklahoma! that Dirk Benedict started in--during the height of original BSG's popularity.
I did indeed record it, but the MBV segment was just a little bit at the end. Almost an afterthought. However, if you haven't seen this yet, this is where they got the interview blurbs from. They were at least done on the same day, because this is the outfit Jensen was wearing in the 411 interview blurbs.
ETA: Ah. After going back through previous messages, I see you have already seen this interview, and even posted it to my LJ. For some reason, it didn't show up the other day when you actually posted the comment. Huh.
Yeah, i've seen that! It was awesome interview on my taste and interviewer was nice and totally Jensen fan :) Ah, it's ok, it was another one reason to rewatch that interview :))
