Okay, ow . . .

Almost one week into 2009. I've not lost any weight, but I've determined that I didn't gain anything over the holidays, which is an accomplishment in and of itself.

I also worked in the yard yesterday, picking up sticks and branches, and moving firewood from the woodpile onto the back porch for easier access should we get some cold nights.

And hour or so after I was done fetching the wood, my arm muscles started quivering. I mistakenly recognized this as a lack of blood sugar and quickly had something to eat (probably more than I should have, I'm sure). When my arm continued to quiver, I realized, duh, it wasn't low blood sugar, it was the weight I had been lifting. Brilliant.

And this morning my thigh muscles are . . . pleasantly achy? Not so achy they hurt, but I can definitely tell I was doing something I'm not used to doing yesterday. Makes me feel like I accomplished something.

We've started a Beth Moore Bible study in Sunday school. It's the "Breaking Free" study and uses Judges and Isaiah as its primary texts (thus far). I love Beth Moore studies because she really delves into the history and context and personalities of the subject matter. And they're really intense.

I need to check out the programs y'all are telling me about for icons. I've got Photoshop Elements, and I'm sure I'm merely scratching the surface of what the program can do, but I'll take a gander at the other programs as well. In the meantime, can anyone point me to a good gif tutorial for animation/slideshow-type icons?

It's gray and rainy out today. I could easily go home and curl up in bed.
