...the significance of satsuma mandarines at Christmas? :)
I'm eating a satsuma, and I'm reminded of the Tenth Doctor's defeat of the Sycorax with a satsuma found in his pocket during David Tennant's first Christmas special on the show.
The way he talks about it seems to imply it's part of the British tradition? But...a satsuma?

ETA: Cultural exchange tidbit: You may know this already, but mandarines are considered lucky in Chinese culture, and are sold for display/enjoying at home or as gifts around Chinese New Year. :)
