Yesterday was the first of my two posting days at Summer of Giles, and to make things interesting, I created icons and artworks for our favorite Watcher this time around.
My life has been rather crazy lately, and large contiguous chunks of free time for writing were the first to go out the window. But the wonderful thing about image editing is that I could do a little at a time and the cumulative results add up over time: download images via search to my phone while in line at the grocery store (which auto-sync to my Drive), add layer effects (or take them away) when I have half an hour after dinner, spend a few minutes to selectively blur or sharpen an area before bed. (Although creating layer mask on my phone with my finger without step-by-step Undo is an experience I'd very much like to avoid in the future, thank you very much.) I'd be happy to share more of my plentiful Lessons Learned if anyone's interested.

The rest this way. Please take a look! :)
Here be icons. There be artworks.
