I think Gabrielle is absolutely going to love this!

I can see the delicate weaving of hope at the end of the story along with the angst that's threaded through every word. This line was one of my favorites:
(Comfort, comforter, comfortest? Words were weird...all alliterative and arbitrary and absurd.)
I found it to be quite Willow-y.

Well done!

Thank you! I love Willow with words.

(I might tweak the ending to make it more upbeat. I rarely post freshly-written fic without "sleeping on it" first.)

I don't think you need to change the ending at all.

I agree completely! And I see Gabrielle loves the story (of course!) so that should prevent any alterations.

This is wonderful. It truly is. You captured something beautiful and true here and it's so perfectly in character for Willow. Love the way she refuses to avoid the grief but instead walks boldly into the eye of the storm.

Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Gabrielle

Poor Willow, finally facing her grief... ending the world is so much easier. You write amazing Willow, you know? (Though I could say it about every character you write, you really know how to get into their heads.)

Thank you, Restfield! I seem to do OK with really miserable stuff. Not sure what that says about me. :P
