Doc: Selfish, Inconsiderate Cuntrag
So my coworker, MAD (initials to her name), whose been working for Doc & TheHag for 10 fucking years is FINALLY gonna take her dream trip to Europe next week. This will basically leave me alone with those 2 dumbfucks and the patients. I’ll be forced to perform NOT ONLY secretarial duties but NURSE duties as well (which of course I’m not qualified for, but that’s for another entry…). These things include assisting with cystoscopies (looking into the bladder) and prostate biopsies (obtaining samples directly from the prostate).
Cystos aren’t so bad cuz I don’t have to be present if its a male. Biopsies, on the other hand, are always male and can be quite draining for me because 1) some of the guys get really freaked out, 2) Doc goes into impatient dick mode (ESPECIALLY when they don’t speak English and I’m struggling to translate), and 3) DID I MENTION I’M NOT A CERTIFIED FUCKIN’ NURSE!?!? Myeah…
Normally we only have 3 and only on Thursdays. Now Doc’s got it in his head that because MAD’s going away soon it’d be a BRILLIANT idea to try to book as many biopsies as he can before she leaves. He said this while we were in his office. I fought the urge to slap the shit out of him as I explained how goddamn stupid his idea was because she’s NOT the one who’ll be assisting him. I WILL. I’M THE ONE SETTING UP. I’M THE ONE CLEANING UP. She’ll be working the desk giving the appointments. She has NOTHING to do with it!
And he just laughs. Like the stupid airhead he is. He was hoping to ruffle her feathers because that’s how he has his fun: frustrating the fuck outta MAD. Why would he do that? Why would he set out to frustrate the one person that keeps his business moving to the point that if she quits he’d likely HAVE to retire? Because he assumes she’ll never leave. Like pulling your pet cat’s whiskers and assuming it’d never strike back simply because its been your pet its whole life and then being shocked as fuck all when you find it attached to your face. That makes sense right?
He’s pushed her hard and I’m not about to deal with it for as long as she has….
