Two Weeks In
Things are more or less settled down here I guess. I've confirmed the class that I'm taking and gotten most of my things needed for class as well. It snowed yesterday. It was so beautiful. I woke up to see the windows fogged up. Search for my glasses and after putting them up, I squinted through a tiny spot to see a white environment. Oh it was just so beautiful and the snow falling down. Such a lovely morning and I am thankful to be given such an opportunity to witness snow for the first time in my life although it is so close to Spring.
I've also gotten to know more friends over here from Singapore and I went out with them to explore Nampodong. Found more shops as compared to the last time but it was mostly catered to females, nothing new. The prices were like 5,000 (SGD 6.25) to 10,000 won (SGD 12.25) for their clothes. More seafood at Jagalchi again for late lunch/early dinner. Seriously I was shocked that they insisted I pay less as I didn't eat the sashimi. And even for dinner, one of them helped to check with the shopkeeper that there was no meat in the soup of the noodles that they ordered.
I'm studying right now. Actually I think I'm doing more studying over here as compared to back in Singapore. I'm actually doing my readings before class. Must be the lack of things to do. I even slept early like around midnight just so I could wake up for breakfast. It's pretty nice.
