[What can be seen here, ladies and gents, is Feldt Grace, looking a bit concerned as she sits by the fountain in the center of Espoir. She doesn't know where she is, she's been poking around at her Dreamberry for a while and found how to work it but seems doubtful that anyone will get the message. Still, it's worth a shot

[God, does she ever sound familiar, but he just can't believe it. If it weren't for the name flashing- Feldt Grace- he would be in total denial. He's almost hesitant to offer video as he quickly thinks over his options. Yet again, he's going to have to repeat the semi-traumatic process of reintroducing himself-]

Ah... [clears his throat] Hello.

[The familiar voice could only belong to one person... or so she thinks. It was weird how he didn't have the video running though, but really, she's more than surprised to hear a familiar voice. ...Just not the one she thinks it belongs to.]

Lyle? What are you doing here?

[voice]

[Well, shit. What to do? If he turns his own video on, she'll see the eye patch. He could take it off, but there's no way in hell he's going to deceive her.]

[He doesn't want to shock her too badly, so he leaves his own video off.] I'm not Lyle.

[She frowns at the screen for a minute, not saying anything at first.]

What do you mean you're not--

[video]- 2/?

[feldtgrace]

[Shock soon steps in with an audible gasp.]

That's not possible.... You can't.... He's not....

[She shakes her head, shutting her eyes tight against tears she thought had dried up almost five years ago. When she speaks this time, it's more to herself than him.]

No... this is a dream, it's a bad joke.... It has to be. There's no other logical explanation for this. He's dead, he died over four years ago....

[She finally opens her eyes, now shining with the tears she held back. Her expression is a mix of sadness and hurt, with just a touch of anger, while her voice is surprisingly steady.]

I don't know who you think you are, but if this is some kind of joke, it's not funny.

[video] YOU ARE BREAKING MY HEART HERE.

[A long silence, before he hesitantly turns on the video- looking at her now, he's startled at how different she is- older, yet still the girl he knows.] I would never play such a cruel joke on you, Feldt. [his gaze is serious, perhaps a touch sad from seeing the sorrow in her features]

[When the video finally appears, she gasps as the tears well up again. The eyepatch is unmistakable and yet....]

But... how? This is impossible. You... you....

[She can't finish, instead biting into her lower lip to keep herself from sobbing uncontrollably.]

Ahh... [his look is clearly pained] I'll explain everything to you. I promise. But it wouldn't be fair to you to do so on the phone.

[She nods, wiping her eyes on her jacket sleeve.]
