So, my family came up to Logan today. Richard went to the football game. And guess what? We actually won. The Aggies actually win a game...
Anyways, we went shopping. And then my mom and Richard went to dinner while I watched my siblings. I took them to go get Aggie ice cream. Then we went to the Fun Center where they played. Then we made brownies.
And then they went home. Of course, Cortnie pretty much cried the whole time while they were leaving. She didn't want to leave. Even though she'll see me next weekend and the weekend afterwards, she was still sad.
And now I sit here trying not to think of the homework I need to do. I'll be going to the Human Body Exhibit next weekend. I talked my mom into going with me. I'm so excited...
So, my human physiology class made me think about my grandma. And she's been on my mind pretty much all the time since then. We're going over the Cardiovascular System. She died of heart failure. They showed a slide of varicose veins, that was just an unwelcome flashback to a time I try to suppress...
Basically, this is how my learning and thinking goes... I learn what happens to the heart and what causes it to fail. I also learn about the veins and lymphatic system. And then I think, oh that's how her heart failed, or why she had so much fluid buid-up, or why the blood just kind of sat there and built up... Yeah, I don't want to think about it.
All I can say is I hope I stay healthy and keep a healthy diet. And I hope one day once I'm out of school, I'll be able to fit in an exercising schedule to stay healthy (running between classes is basically my exercise for the day).
