So, I'm here in Maryland. Things are... good.
I've been writing a good bit, which is fun, I'm almost finished with a story. I have also read a lot - I FINALLY finished The Satanic Verses, and it is a PHENOMENAL book. I recommend anybody and everybody read it, if they're up to it. I've now moved on to Kurt Vonnegut's Sirens of Titan, which is a goofy sci-fi romp (go figure).
I got some good news while I was up here - I got an A in each of my summer courses, yay! So that's always good, and all my fretting and fears were ill-founded I guess. But, then again, it is community college, so there's that.
It's been raining a lot in Baltimore - who woulda thunk it?
Oh, and I had crabs for the first time the other night - Jesus Christ, I thought crawfish were a lot of work to eat. Anyway, I guess I'm done for now.
