And I'm not coming out til this is all over.
SFA Update: I got my official acceptance letter in the mail, woohoo. With that I got my SFA email address and other fun stuff, so I made a new Facebook for SFA... if you already had me on your facebook you might want to look me up again. I listed myself as Michael Jaynes this time instead of Mike though, for some reason. I can't register for classes until I get advised, which is pretty obnoxious, but I'm going to call them tommorow and see if I can do it over the phone or something. If I can't, I very well may drive up to Nac on Wednesday for the day, get my advising on. I have also decided I have no choice but to take an English class at MoCo over the summer if I can still transfer the credit to SFA for this fall... if I don't do this, I will have to take this English 2 (basically) class during the fall, and I won't be able to take any other English classes until I pass it. Which would put me even further behind, yadda yadda.
Work update: The suck. I worked the overnight shift on Friday night, then my relief didn't show up at 5 so I ended up going home at 6:30am, then I had to work again yesterday evening, and I work tonight as well. I am definitely looking forward to having tommorow off. I might go downtown with Randy, or at least make him drive me to the barrio again for a BURRITO OF GLORY. I got the beachhouse time off from work, and I'm also hoping to get 2 days off together between the 14th and 17th of May, so that I can visit the Napper when he is in Austin hanging out with his brother. Markle and Travich Jayneski action? I THINK SO.
Speaking of the beachhouse, I paid $600 of the rent/deposit on Friday. Still need to pay $150 more, which is waiting on Randy, but once we take care of that, everything is go for launch. However, people that are going, please know that I'm going to be living on like $30 til my next paycheck, so shower me with love and affection for it. And be sure to have your money (It'll be like $55 for the rent per person at most, I think) ready to pay me back when you get to the beachhouse, or beforehand.... I'd rather not have to spend all summer hunting people down for 55 bucks.
Other than that, NOTHING INTERESTING HAS HAPPENED, except for last Tuesday, I went downtown to the House of Pies and met up with Sarah.. Houstonian, future Lumberjack like myself, and all-around cool chick. We had fun, even if the House of Pies is pretty sketchy after dark.
