Wooo!
We're FINALLY making some headway with our partnership with Belle Mer. I got a call today from another coordinator at Belle Mer regarding a wedding another wedding coordinator/events planner had recommended us for. The basic run down is that I've sent them our contract and Policies/Procedures and they will merge our two contracts into one to make basically La Bella Musica's Belle Mer-specific contract.
The contract and payment will all be done through Belle Mer but we will have direct contact with the clients to establish details for the second page of our contract (in essence, a "details sheet"). I will have to verify this with either Stuart or someone else at Belle Mer but it appears that we will not have to sign any tax forms with them. Meaning that they pay us directly (clients' pay BM, total can be put towards there event minimum, BM sends us a check) and I guess we report it ourselves like we would for a normal gig.
I told the coordinator of BM that we had been trying to get in touch with Stuart for the last 2 months or so and she said that they've been flooded with inquiries for weddings and said to try again soon.
All right, need to get a move on. 2 Moses Brown kids today and then RIPCO. Need to stop by the bank and possibly grab something at Starbucks before getting to MB. It's weird to be starting so late in the day again... I'm not sure I like it =/
