so today I took a test, finally. I am glad it is over. I hope I passed. At least it was not as awful as I expected. Just hope followed directions and did what I was supposed to. Went out to eat today although I should have cooked for myself. I guess with the bit of time left I have in germany I don´t really feel like keeping to myself in my little room (though i may feel differently tomorrow).
Had to take my test while Germany was playing against Ecuador. That sucked. Germany scored three goals. Two were from my favorite player. None of them seen by my own eyes. I will have to head over to the pub and see the commentaries after the game. I have always hated beer. Then I went to the pub last week and ordered one. I didn´t realize how nice it is to have a really cold beer. mmmmmmmmm.
Well, get to meet up with my Japanese friend tomorrow. I don´t know how it happens but there are some people that you just meet the first time and you just like them. You don´t have to know much about them you just like them. I don´t really know why but I am really glad that I met Mika. We are not able to meet up often but I enjoy hangin out with her. Tomorrow we meet up for ice cream and I get to be fed (probably Japanese food) we will see. I am super excited.
Talked with two real French people today. That was super cool. They were really nice too. Hopefully the next time I see them they will write down a list of French singers I can listen too. That I am really excited about. French has done really bad things to my GPA but I actually do like learning other languages. I don´t mean to be arrogant about it or anything but I think that when I am with people. I can actually pick it up pretty well. German. Yes I have taken German class. But I can honestly say I don´t think I have learned anything from them, really. I can´t say that about my other classes but German just sucked.
I can tell that my vocab in German has gotten really good since I have been here. The classes I took at Kapito helped some but the courses I take at the University haven´t broughten that much. So where am I picking up my German from? I tend to pick up thing when people around me are speaking and just go with it. I don´t know how it works but it does. Its crazy. Hopefully God will show me what he wants me to do with this sort of knowledge. We will see.
Time for a cold beer to celebrate taking a test and being able to sleep in tomorrow :)
