Reflections
Reflections from vacation:
The first words out of my Uncle's mouth when he saw me was "You look great"...his last words as we were leaving "You are an amazing person." I normally would shrug it off but I have the utmost respect and admiration for this particular uncle, mostly because he and my aunt are the youngest of the crowd although they still have me by about 19 years. Someday these words will sink in to a guy before they leave me and that will be a happy day, but for now its just fun to get hit on (which happened...gasp...I know its hard to believe =P )
Spending a week with a bunch of married folk is exhausting. Not only do you hardly get to say a word, but when you do get to speak no one seems to notice because it is only stories of friends, not husbands, in-laws, kids, etc. It was kind of sad...it was frustrating. It missed my little cousins being there, they always gave me something to do, that wasn't just looking around at the little shops.
Well...I'm home...and I'm going to goto Matt's soon and hang out cause I just need to be around other single people who I can relate to. It should be nice, I work tomorrow at the mall then back to the daily grind on Monday...I am kinda looking forward to it.
