So things are honestly about the same. I'm still working on getting a car. We are trying to actually get two cars, because our surburban is giving us trouble again, so it's a little more tricky.
The summer is going good. There's been a neighborhood kid who's had a hard time. Lately when hes been at the house, he started talking back to me, and other neighbor moms on the block. He has a bad attitude, and always wants people to feel sorry for him. Part of that is probably just a need for attention on his part because his home life is so shitty. I had a girlfriend of mine (hey Steffie) come over with her son, and it was so nice to have a complete lack of drama. The boys played together really well, and there wasn't the normal fighting back and forth. Bri and I had a sit down and talked about how different the boys acted with stephen around, compared to J, the other boy down the street. So I explained to the boys that I didn't want them playing with J for awhile. J showed up at the house wanting to know why. I have to hand it to the kid, he handled that better than I did. I should have just explained everything to him, instead of just taking the easy way out and not wanting to deal with it. We had a really nice talk. I explained to him what I expected out of him, and I was really proud of all of them. They came to the conclusion on their own, that the playstation was the culprit in their fights, because there wasn't enough controllers. So we all decided to eliminate that from their play time. Everyone aggreed, J and I made up, and that was that. It's funny when you learn things from kids, don't you think? LOL
Other than that, I've been researching Esthitician schools in town, and applied at the school I used to work out. They have a great program. It's more expensive, but they have a great reputation, and a high graduation rate. I met one of their speakers that they had flown in, and she was amazing. So I put my application in. If the school loans work out, I'll start the middle of september.
I worked out four times last week. It felt great. I just need to KEEP doing that, and reduce my calorie intake. It's still too high.
How bout ya'll?
