Hello everybody!
First off, I just want to say thank you to everyone on the west coast who helped out with the reception. It was so amazing! And perfect! Everything I could have wanted. And you saved my mom sooooo much stress. It's official--I have the best friends in the world (not that I didn't already know that, but I just thought I'd reaffirm the fact.)
Secondly, thank you for coming! It was great seeing those who could come at the temple, and then everyone who could come to the reception too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
The cross-country trip was long. But fun. Logan and I had no desire to kill each other, and after 30 straight hours in a car that's saying something. All the B&Bs we stayed in were adorable, and I'm finding I much prefer them to hotels. So much more friendly!
On Tuesday we signed the documents for our house. We have a house!! That's amazing to me. It's so cute, too. Very quaint and homey. Logan and I plan on getting a digital camera with some of our ill-gotten gains (read: wedding gift money) and I'll be sure to send the pictures 'round. It's about time people see what life is like out here (aside from Jeremy, that is).
To those on the east coast: I'm back! It's so weird seeing people on campus. I'm excited for the reception tonight at Alexanders (I hope you're all coming) and I also hope that those who are single dont' stop associating with me. I mean, I know I have the plague and everything, but I'd still like to talk and laugh like old times...
I'm still getting used to the fact that I married a jock. It's not that it's distasteful or anything, it's just highly amusing. It's opening up a world to me I never knew existed.
Logan is wonderful, though. So helpful! I'm glad I'll be with him forever.
Call me if you wanna talk! I'm around :-)
And working. Oy. The work. Orientation starts Monday, so what is Emilie doing on her Saturday? Why, working to prepare for Monday, of course. Complete with being in the office. Again, I say "oy."
