Catching up on Taiwan Summer 2007! (part1?) =o
Ice Skating!~
I have an Aunt from Sweden who came to Taiwan for a week with her (around ten year-old) daughter and her husband. ^.^ Her daughter is so cute. T-T Her childhood sounds so much like the kind of childhood I would have liked to have. ^^ She plays the violine, likes to draw, can sew (she recently got her sewing machine license in school! XD), and figure skates. =o
-anyhow, so I was thinking, "hmm figure skates, huh? XD" I suddenly wanted to try ice skating. '_' I've only gone ice skating once my whole life when I was around two years old. ^^; I got really excited about it so I asked a cousin if there were any ice skating rinks. ^.^ Some time during the middle of the week, my cousin, her friend, my brother, and I went out ice skating.~ I was really anxious at first, but when we got there and I had a chance to see the rink, I really wanted to turn around and forget about it. '_' I'm not sure why, maybe it was because I was feeling nervous. o_< I rationalized with myself though that it was a really great opportunity and because we already spent about half an hour walking in the blazing hot humid Taiwan weather to get there. XD (I was also thinking about changing my mind because renting shoes that other people have worn seems to bug me for some reason. '_')
Ice skating that day involved a lot of falling and pain, but it was fun! XD I think I picked it up rather quick actually (though I'm still really bad). ^.^ -I'm guessing probably because I've had some experience rollerskating in elementary school. >.> We all skated for two hours. When we were done, the insides of my feet and my lower hip were sore. XD lol
As we got outside, I suddenly felt really hungry remembering that I only ate two pieces of toast all day and it was already 6pm. '_' I looked across the street and to my wonderful surprise, there was a Pizza Hut!! XD I love pizza so much!~ T-T I've been craving pizza for the longest time!
My brother and I parted with my cousin and her friend and went to Pizza Hut! =D We had an awesome buffet with awesome pizza and salad. T-T We ate till it started hurting!~ lol
What a fun day! XD Full of "new" fun experiences and Pizza!~ ;_;
I don't think I'll ever finish this so I figured I might as well post it now. =o It's a collage of characters that I've been drawing and thinking about recently. ^.^
I recently drew this and was planning on coloring it, but then decided that I might not because it didn't come out as great as I would have liked. o_< I still haven't decided yet, but I'm kinda betting I won't. ._.
