I am king of taking unglam photos.

Went cycling at Sentosa again! This time with Mren, Rach, Liz and Rox. Originally planned to L4D2 but since Sharyl is in New York, we’ll wait for her to come back so everyone can enjoy the killing spree :D Taking the monorail to Sentosa from Vivo just got a little bit more satisfying because you can use your ez-link cards to get through the gantries now, so Mren and I had the cheap thrill of waltzing past queues of tourists lining up to buy their tickets and passes hoho. It is still $3 to get in though, but I guess glares from tourists makes it a bit more worth it, I dunno.

No cycling photos because I was too busy screaming and getting a sore bum for 2 hours. The bike kiosk has changed though! And it’s more expensive, $12 for the first hour on a regular bike and $8 per subsequent hour :( They have some new e-bike thing, which is like this electric bicycle that generates a surge of electricity when you pedal so you go faster with less effort, it really is a lazy person’s bike hahahaha. Rach tried it out, it goes scarily fast! I was on a regular bike because the e-bikes were too big for me I believe in the greater rewards of manual labour. When we were pedalling down a nice big open road, I was like WAH MACHIAM KINGS AND QUEENS:

But Rachel was like NO NO NO and I didn’t really want to die either so we didn’t try anything funny hahaha.

After biking, RAMEN TIMEZ. Liz recommended this place called Ramen Play near Universal Studios, they’re like this cooperative thing between a Japanese ramen company and Bread Talk D: Man, these Bread Talk guys are everywhere. But yeah, RAMEN PHOTOS because this time my survival didn’t depend on keeping both my hands on the eating utensils and I like taking photos of unglamness at meals:

I had the tonkotsu ramen, pretty good stuff. Apparently they massage the noodles to make them more, as they would say in ads, “QQ”. And yeah, I drank all my soup, but slurping really isn’t as easy as it looks, SKILLZ ALL.

Anyway, have some cheesy tourist photos because we’re stupid like that:

Didn’t go into Universal Studios but we did check out the shops around the area and HERSHEY’S WORLD OMG ALL THAT CHOCOLATE HNNGH. And it was next to this specialist popcorn shop that sold popcorn in like, 6.5 gallon buckets. I don’t know what that is in metric, but it’s big, like bigger than your head big D8 Also, Liz bought a 5lb Hershey’s chocolate bar, BEHOLD 2.26 KG OF SOLID CHOCOLATE YOU COULD BRICK SOMEONE OVER THE HEAD WITH:

More photos on Facebook because I am lazy to upload all of them here. Also, completely unrelated to yesterday’s outing but yeah, THIS IS WHAT I WAS UP TO ALL SEM:

Y-yeah, and I totally didn't take this photo as a reference for the titles so I can go back and borrow them during the hols to read in my leisure time, nooo I did not...

food, books, life is good, fuck yeah, camwhoring good times
