As I said in my "Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool"
review, Jamie looks great in blue. Here's him in New York yesterday.
Also this interview is pretty fun. Watch it from the 2'11" point. Near the end, something happened. Bening was just sitting there, gracefully sipping her tea. So funny. The interviewer brought up other Oscar hopefuls, such as Call Me By Your Name and The Shape of Water, it's fun to see Jamie and Bening's reactions.
I want to watch Call Me By Your Name mainly because it will be good source material for a Marcus/Esca story. I still have not finished reading the book. It's not long, but too many internal thoughts from one of the main characters. So maybe an audio book is a better option for me. Plus it is narrated by Armie Hammer. I like his deep voice.

Finally, I wonder if any reader of my blog read the news about
Lars von Trier's production company. These pretentious, artsy type of filmmakers are really horrendous. It is reported that the company's unique culture includes trainees lying on their knees begging for spanking. Does it remind you of certain movies made by the company? I hope Jamie Bell will distance himself from filmmakers like Lars von Trier in the future. Whenever Jamie was asked about Nymphomaniac, he always expressed that he felt uncomfortable doing those scenes. I can understand he did not want to play safe, he wanted challenges, but is the experience of working with LVT worth it?
