Shortlist finally posted their Q&A with Jamie Bell yesterday. It is for their 10th Anniversary Issue. I like Jamie's endearing jug ears.
The Q&A is quite interesting. Jamie says he still does not have a house.
I’m trying to buy a house at the moment, but I find it hard to commit, because who knows what’s going to happen next? I’ll always proceed with caution.
I find it's interesting that he's saying this even he just got married for the second time. I figure out that the Q&A was done at the beginning of September because Jamie mentioned he dropped his son off for his first day of school last week. Jamie also mentions his four-year-old son has made him a better actor because he taught him that he has a vast capacity for feeling. That's an interesting way to put it. The 3 or 4-year-old kids I have ever spent time with were all quite annoying lol
Jamie also says he's often consumed by a feeling that he's totally sh*t at my job. He said: "I’ve developed stupidly high standards. I drive home at the end of the day telling myself, “Don’t worry, you’ll get it tomorrow.” It’s like an addiction, but you never quite get the hit, so you’re constantly trying to find it. I think that’s what keeps people going."

BTW, Jamie and Kate attended the premiere of HBO's new documentary about Steven Spielberg on Tuesday Sep. 26. I guess he must be interviewed in this documentary.
