Channing Tatum helps man propose to girlfriend on BBC Radio 1
Channing was on BBC Radio 1 this morning, and he helped a guy named Joss to propose to his girlfriend Emily. I wanted to point out that Channing made sure when Emily was talking to him she was not driving on a highway or something (this part was edited out in the video posted below, but it was in the uncut original radio interview). Safety first. That's what a responsible adult should do. Anyway, you can tell Joss and Emily love each other. Emily saying "Joss, you're an idiot but I still you" was the best part. Also Emily kept her cool when she was talking with Channing. Best luck to the couple. And Channing's reaction during this phone conversation is GOLD! I wonder if Channing will offer to get Emily a proper ring (Joss said he could not afford it).
In the same interview, Channing also said he would bring Magic Mike Live to London and Amsterdam. Good for him. It seems he chooses to do less movies (esp. live action movies) because he wants to be with his daughter more. I can understand that, but I miss him on big screen. Also I'm eager to know what his next movie will be. Will we miss him again in 2018? He has not filmed anything for almost a year.
Finally I wanted comment on the host Nick Grimshaw. He was one of the guys who measured Channing and Jamie's neck back in March 2011. I felt it was silly and improper, esp. I know there are people out there making fun of Channing's thick neck. Once, there was a guy even asked Channing's good friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt why Channing's neck was so thick. Anyway, this time Grimshaw sorta apologized to Channing. Channing being game as always, just rolled with it, and went with the thigh-neck joke for the entire interview.
Speaking of dumb people, on Monday this dumb girl asked Channing to put a tampon into his nostril (like in the movie She's the Man) on red carpet. Channing said "definitely not". Why there are idiots like this?
