Is it a bit too affectionate?
Many people describe Channing as a giant puppy. He does seem to be very loving and affectionate. When he hugs a friend, he gives him or her a warm, tight, bear hug. Here is a video of him with his Jump Street director Phil Lord. Anyway, you can get an idea why he is a giant puppy.
Anyway, his wife posted a series of snapchat videos on Friday. In these videos, she was with one of her best friends Emmanuelle Chriqui (also her bridesmade). They were suntanning by the pool. Here is how Chriqui dressed. Then Channing showed up. When he saw Chriqui, he approached her and gave her a hug while she was still lying on the chaise lounge. You can hear Channing saying "hey girl, gave me a hug, give me a hug, I haven't seen you for so long". I understand all of them are very close (see a picture of Chriqui at Channing's wedding rehearsal), but is it a proper way to greet one's wife's half-dressed female friend? I wonder if tabloids will turn this into some sort of a scandal.
This is their private life. If the three of them feel okay, then it is no one else's business. BUT, now Jenna was sharing this part of her life with the public, then it is a fair game if it draws criticism. Jenna seems to crave the spotlight a bit too much, and in my opinion, it's not so smart.
