Ew, so this is the headline - Paramount Drops J.C. Chandor’s ‘Triple Frontier’; Channing Tatum, Tom Hardy Also Out.

Deadline: I’ve confirmed that Paramount has dropped out of the drama that J.C. Chandor was supposed to start production on next month (May 8th). Channing Tatum and Tom Hardy also are officially out.

I had heard earlier that Chandor (the director) turned in a rewrite that Tatum and Hardy didn’t love, and they were teetering. Sources said that for Paramount, this project was being done on a tight schedule and for a price, and that once creative differences imperiled that goal and requests were made for more extensive changes - I’ve heard those requests came from Hardy - the studio today declined to move forward. Variety: The film has five major roles, 3 of which had been cast but with Hardy and Tatum's salary demands, barely any left for other two roles.

Had heard that studio wanted Diego Luna and John Cho for other roles but that studio likely wouldn't have funds to afford both.

Fei: This is annoying. I am not surprised that it was Hardy who requested big changes. So what movie project can Channing work on next?
