Jamie and Channing at work

Jamie is in London now. Yesterday producer Colin Vaines posted a table read photo from Pinewood Studios. This is for the movie "Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool". Annette Bening and Julie Walters were there too. Julie Walters played Jamie's teacher in Billy Elliot. So this was a reunion after 16-17 years. Do I have the wait for that long to see Jamie and Channing in another movie together?

PS, I always wonder if Jamie and his old BFF Max Minghella are still friendly. Well, recently Max liked a news article reporting Jamie discussing James Bond role with producers. Hmm...

In the meanwhile, Channing is busy selling his Vodka. He visited a distributor of beverage alcohol yesterday and he will attend a Cannes Lions event on June 23. According to the schedule, he will debut new Born and Bred (the brand name of his Vodka) content on stage during the session.

Now Channing. My friend Rachel and I once talked about Channing's movies. We felt he needed a movie like Fight Club to win male fans. Fight Club was a movie based on a novel written by Chuck Palahniuk. It is one of the movies with the best plot twist, similar to The Sixth Sense and Gone Girl. You know, the type of movies that you want absolutely NO spoilers before watching it. It was until 2014 or 2015, I listened to the audio book of the original novel. Anyway, Chuck Palahniuk recently was interviewed by Comic Book Resources (CBR). They asked him about his crowdfunding movie project. Here is the part Palahniuk brought up Channing.

CBR: The fundraising page mentions negotiations have begun with "some amazing cast and crew." What actors/actresses are being eyed for "Lullaby?" And may I suggest Tilda Swinton for Helen Hoover Boyle?

Palahniuk: You may suggest anything you like. Go ahead, suggest Channing Tatum sit on my face. Only Andy Mingo (director) will decide.

CBR: You've crafted novels, comics, a coloring book, and are on your way to making a movie on your terms. What art arena are you considering conquering next?

Palahniuk: If I told you, I'd have to kill you. Now, call somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows Channing Tatum.

Ha, I am sure Palahniuk can get in touch with Channing easily. Palahniuk should still have David Fincher's phone number, and Fincher is pretty close to Steven Soderbergh. There is no way Channing would not pick up a phone call from Soderbergh.
