Other than promoting his movies, Channing visited Afghanistan, Iceland, Peru and Ecuador for various purposes. Channing supports US troops. While visiting Afghanistan in Feb. 2015, he met and greeted hundreds of soldiers, including First Sergeant Peter Andrew McKenna. When McKenna was killed in August, Channing offered his condolences to the family. Later he posted pictures of himself wearing a McKenna T-Shirt and he also promoted fundraising event Coast to Coast Ride for the Fallen.
Channing also cares for the environment, and the the well-being of indigenous people in Amazon. When most Americans were celebrating Thanksgiving holiday, Channing visited Peru and Ecuador. He is helping local communities to build two medical research facilities (Rios Nete and Naku) We will learn more about it when ABC airs a special Nightline program. I tried Runa Drinks when I visited the US, but I don't like the taste. I only bought the original flavour ones. Next time maybe I should try fruit flavour ones.

Professionally, here are the best of Channing in 2015 in GIFs. 2015 is not particularly good for Channing. Jupiter Ascending was considered a flop (183.8M worldwide), Magic Mike XXL made money (122.5M worldwide), but less than the first movie (167.2M worldwide) made in 2012. The Hateful Eight is promising, but Channing only played a small role in it. In 2016, Channing will only have one new movie - Hail, Caesar! Then he will begin filming Gambit in March. Let's hope his Gambit will be a commercial success in 2017 after all the drama about director and budget.
Jamie's movie Fantastic 4 was a disaster, but his TV Show TURN was renewed for a third season. He also filmed movie 6 Days. Another Tintin movie is on the horizon. Let's hope he can get better roles in the future.
