Happy New Year! I tried Playmobil Stop Motion for the first time. It took so much time. I had to set up a tripod and background, then I planned the scene. After took eight still pictures, I needed a rest. And eight frames only last for about 1 second of video. I also had to find the right audio, mixed it with music. I wonder when can I find the

I recognize the music. But where is Esca's line from ? I'm not sure I recognize it.
Thank you for the article. It seems all journalists always end up having sympathy for Channing and acknowledge he doesn't take himself seriously. This is one of his strenghts.
As for the twitter rant affair. Yes, I did follow it.
An important difference between the character of Mark, Dave and John in the movie is that the real Mark is still there, and not the other two.
And of course, it's a bit touchy taking someone story as a raw material to create your work of art. Seeing the film and reading the critics, I always thought that it might be a bit hard to take for Mark Schultz. The character in the movie goes through a lot of difficult situations. I'm sure it's difficult for M. Schultz to Watch.
But, it's nothing new. Artists do it all the time: they recreate what happen in history in order to comment on society, for instance.
Chances are that the real John DuPont would have something to say about the way he is depicted too.
I remember the Irish political prisonner from In the Name of The Father had experimented is life very differently than what was showed in the movie. And the real Serpico was not reacting well on the set of the Al Pacino movie, I heard.
I wish he had stated in a lot less confrontational and hostile way that what he had lived was different from the film. It looked a bit like backstabbing, even if it's not what he meant.
I did notice as well, that he makes sure he never attacks Channing. Good. Maybe there was some falling out with the director?
As for hurting Foxcatcher chances, I don't think it will. It gives a bit of publicity. But since the prizes season has started, we can see that, while respected, Foxcatcher is not the favorite.

I agree Foxcatcher is not for everyone, but I still think it can get a few Oscar nominations.

Ok, then.
I don't doubt they will get a few nominations and respect from the critics. But it's obvious they are not the favorite either. This is why I don't think that Mark Schultz' reaction will have that much repercussion on the movie's success.
The damage control was well executed in this case.

It's like a game of domino falling.
The studios sure take the game of Oscars very seriously.
