THR has this Actors Roundtable series going on. If Cumberbatch was not there, I will enjoy this much better. Channing's part is between 9:51 and 15:50.

His fans even thought he did the voiceover for the new Star Wars trailer. It turned out to be Andy Serkis ;p

I know. They also thought he was the mystery figure with the light saber.

I was kind of ticked Sunday night because I was following the coverage of the Evening Standard Awards and he was constantly being photographed and interviewed as though he were up for an award. He was presenting only. I think I saw more photos of him and the future Mrs. than I did of the winners, Gillian Anderson and Tom Hiddleston.

He is like the Anne Hathaway from 2012. And I think he won't win. My bet is on either Michael Keaton or Eddie Redmayne.

Thank you so much for the two vids. That was special and interesting to have several "contenders" speak together. During Channing segment, those who spoke where nice, and yet, I appreciated Timothy Spall, who was silent and didn't feel he had to comment. He just listened. Channing did well, of course. I enjoy this program. Thanks !

Steve Carell was so funny. I guess they wil get more ensemble awards, such as Screen Actors Guild Awards.

No, I am not a fan of Cumberbatch. He came off as quite snobbish in interviews before. For example, in 2012, he trashed Downton Abbey.

I also had the feeling that in the THR vid, a few of the guests were in campaign mode.

Cumberbatch is definitely one of them. He liked to jump in whenever possible, he touched Redmayne, and I don't like his answer to the question "a person you like to play or are intimidated to play". He answered "Dolly Parton". You can tell he tried to come up with something funny, but in my opinion, he failed. Also it seemed he didn't stay to do the group photoshoot. There is one photo with all six of them. His part was added in post-production.
