What to look forward to in 2014? Channing Tatum edition
Remember last year this time, Channing said he would take a break? Well, although he won't film any movie in the first half of 2014, he will be insanely busy as usual.
Jan. 5 - Channing will make a cameo on The Simpsons Jan. 8 - People's Choice Awards? If Channing wins, we are expected to see him. Jan. 12 - Golden Globes? I have a feeling we could see him as a presenter. Jan. 31 - Channing will announce Team Oscar winners on the Ellen show.
Feb. 7 - The Lego Movie. Channing has a small role as Lego Superman.
Mar. 2 - The Oscars. Since he is one of the judges of Team Oscar, I assume he will be invited. Mar. 7-16 - SXSW. I had a feeling Channing will be there to promote 22 Jump Street.
In late spring and early summer, I think we will expect Channing making appearances in awards shows such as MTV Movie Awards (Apr. 13) and Guys Choice Awards (Jun. 14).
Apr. 17-20 - WonderCon. I can't believe they will miss this event to promote Jupiter Ascending. April - Summer of Sony event will take place this month in Cancun, Mexico
May - There were rumors that Foxcatcher will go to Cannes, so we may see Channing in France in May. But will they skip Sundance (Jan. 16-26) and Berlinale (Feb. 6-16)?
Summer
Channing will have two big movies to be released within a month. We are expected to see him on newsstand a lot in June and July.
Jun. 13 - 22 Jump Street (a sure win at the boxoffice)
Jul. 18 - Jupiter Ascending (I am worried about this one based in the reactions towards to first trailer)
Early Fall, Channing will start to film Magic Mike 2
Fall - Foxcatcher to be released?
Oct. 15 - The Book of Life will be released. Channing voices the lead male character.
Then in between, we might see two TV shows he produces - sitcom Nicky and the untitled reality show based on the entertainers of his Saints and Sinners bar in New Orleans.
Also don't forget about his Magic Mike broadway show. We gotta hear more news about it in 2014.
Now, I am exhausted by writing the list. How can Channing manage to do all of these? I believe he is actually Superman.
