White House Down will be released in mainland of China on July 22. Director Roland Emmerich was in Beijing promoting this movie. So far WHD has taken in 83.4M worldwide with about 2/3 international markets yet to open. So there is still a chance this movie can break even.
And yesterday, the media finally caught up with the Forbes article about highest paid actors. Robert Downey Jr. was No. 1 with a 75M pay cheque. To a lot of people's surprise, Channing was at No. 2 with 60M earning which largely comes from co-financing Magic Mike. I saw someone whining about how can a bad actor like CT earn so much blah, blah,... Well, I think he is smarter than those whiners.
So Marcus got rich. And today Uncle Aquila (Mr. Donald Sutherland) turns 78. Happy Birthday! Esca (Jamie Bell) has a new IMDb profile photo (It's about time. They have been using an old picture of him for years). Look at his hair color, it's very close to my Palymobil Esca.
