Sunday Fun
This is a good weekend for an Eagle fangirl like me. Firstly, my friend Sean sent me this half-done picture as a late Birthday gift.
Then Magnetism_bind updated Take It Off.
Finally, thanks to seascribe and isiscolo for making the first two episodes of The Eagle of the Ninth 1977 mini TV series available. The TV version is very different from the movie. After more than 35 years, the show looks dated. The main characters (Marcus, Esca and Cottia) all look at least 10 years older than the ones portrayed in the book. TV Marcus is older, therefore bitterer and more cynical than movie Marcus. And I cannot get past TV Esca's long hair and the mustache. I prefer Channing and Jamie. I am not saying the TV characters are bad. It's just they don't have the youthfulness and earnestness that I like about the movie characters. Also the slashness was in the words, but not in the TV characters' eyes. I do wish the movie could have a few bath scenes like the TV show and the book. Just think about Channing and Jamie being naked together in the water. That's something I want to see :)
PS, a video of Channing making a toast for lesbians and virgins. LoL! I wonder if they keep it in the movie Side Effects.
