First, some DVD news. Haywire will be out on May 1st in
US, then May 21st in
UK. It's interesting that the cover art of the UK version has Ewan McGregor in the centre. They really try to sell more discs in UK. False ad! There is a feature called The Men of Haywire. I wonder if they will have Tatum / Fassbender training footage. Man on A Ledge will be out on May 29th in
US, May 28th in
UK.
Channing and Jonah were on Chelsea Lately last night to celebrate their No.1 movie. 21 Jump Street made 36.3M last weekend, higher than the studio's estimate of 35M.
The more I watch Jonah, the more he seems to be a whining baby. When he was promoting Moneyball, he stayed in Brad Pitt's house in New Orleans. He said everytime he stepped out of a car, fans were so disappointed because they were hoping to see Brad Pitt and his family. Then when he and Channing were on CBS This Morning, he complained they didn't put his photo on the wall, but Brad Pitt's and Chaning's photos were there.
Then last night, he complained that Jay Leno kept saying 21JP was stupid in a joking way backstage. The movie is Jonah's baby. He had been working on it for five years. But you don't expect older guys like Jay or Charlie Rose will like it as much as some 20-year-old college student. I guess he was trying to make people laugh by sharing these stories or comments. However, he could be more creative. There gotta be other ways to entertain the audience of a live talk show.
And here is Channing and Jonah
spoofing Jersey Shore. If it were not for Channing, I would never watch either JS or Chelsea Lately.
Here is a photo of Channing at The Eagle UK premiere. Like it.
Now some Jamie.
