Esca - not a good slave, but a fashionista
You might ask me why? Well, obviously Esca pack two pieces of shawls for himself, but only one for Marcus.
We all know Esca changed horses (horse #1, horse #2) during the journey to the north. He must have planned that, he even brought two shawls to match his horses. Oh Esca, you 2nd century British fashionista. Let's check his other stuff, from pants (look at the details) to belt, to boots.
And don't forget the leather Capri pants he wore in the arena. That's how he caught Marcus' eyes. Like Kate did to William.

There are so much fun in examining HQ photos. For example, this one, I didn't realize that Marcus was also in it until today. Also this one, I didn't see anything wrong until I spotted Jamie's rubber boots. I guess this is the same rubber boots he carried to their hotel. So this must be a picture of rehearsing. Jamie changed to Esca's boots when they were filming.
I like Marcus' centurion costumes, esp. his boots. He had to keep it low key when he was in the north.
