When there are decently-written scripts, pretty people and beautiful costume, I don't have any complaint. I can just enjoy the show. ( Read more... )

Leontes is likable, you cannot fault him for much, at least not yet. I think that this will be an interesting triangle because it is just happened as a result of young people's mistakes. I can understand how this happened because it is more youth than anything.

Morgan is very much what a real witch would be like. And her shapeshifting was very interesting. Magick is never easy or fun. There is always a price to pay. They touch on that in Merlin but they play it there rather stupidly, like a plot device. Here we see her struggling with it. Merlin alludes to the cost as well. And what is the dark force she is calling on? We don't know yet.

Leontes is a bit two dementional, I am not interested in his story at this moment.

The writers are more competent, and they don't have a need to please a family audience.
