I watched the first two episodes (1 hour 36 min) of The Borgias. The opening credit is very good. Costumes are gorgeous. There're some interesting character relationships (brother and sister, son and an assassin, sister and daddy's lover etc.), eye candies for men, and Jeremy Irons in RED.
I think the show is not supposed to be funny, but when Jeremy Ions' character told his lover if she needs "spiritual comfort..." or something like that, I burst into laughters.
The pace is a bit slow here and there, but the storyline is interesting enough to keep me watching. I am looking forward to watch more.
The Borgias will be officially aired on
Showtime this Sunday (April 3rd) in the US. It will be shown on
Bravo in Canada on the same night.
