Family Business: Shine for sale?
As some of you may know that Shine is the production company of Merlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, there is a rumor that Elisabeth Murdoch is about to sell her $1 billion-plus production company Shine Group to her dad's News Corp. Elisabeth Murdoch set up Shine about 10 years ago. It has grown through acquisition to be one of the U.K.'s biggest production giants and has a global network of divisions in France, Germany, Australia and the U.S.
