3x08 AM clip is up on vimeo, the same pw (see my sticky entry for clue)

And remember this set photo by alex006 ? It seems they just finished filming the 3x08 opening scene. Look at Colin's smile. Working with shirtless Bradley must be a bonus.

I so much loved that contrast between the serenity and solemnity of the first scene and Merlin snoring like a lump on the floor in the next.

a quest to enter the realm of the Fisher King:
how noble,
how brave and
how utterly useless

IKR? The quest was supposed to be Arthur's but in the end it turned out to be Merlin's quest. How exactly is he supposed to be the Great King when all the writers make him do is bully Merlin and make lovesick faces at Gwen? I want noble Arthur back.

of course he will be he very great king:
he will faint or go unconsious at the right moment and then Merlin fixes all, till he is about a 100 and 35.

sorry, but there are moment Arthur's constant fainting is bit too convenient.

So true. I feel bad for Bradley. He cares about his character growth a lot, but the writers don't.

As an AM fans, the quest is disappointing. I want two sides of the same coin back. I want it to be an AM only quest. I wonder is this why they give us the B/C quests.

think the Trident was the classic McGuffin, it's some device to get the plot going but in the end nobody remembers why it was inportant if it isn't forgotten at all.

the last scene was typical:
Merlin acted more or less like:"OK, Uther has seen it, Uther is pleased, let's take out the trash."

THIS! The Merlin writers, they fail epically.
