I had a chat with
accordingtomel yesterday.
feilongfan: Sorry, I am totally distracted by Bradley's expression (in your icon). No one in Merlin's cast can make so many funny faces.
accordingtomel: I know, right? I love it! He has the BEST expressions ever ;). I'm always snagging icons of him making weird faces because they're just so fun and cute ;).
feilongfan: With his skills of making faces, Bradley can do what Jim Carrey can do. But it's such a waste, because his face is so pretty. I am not sure if I want to see Bradley in a typical Jim Carrey type film. The only Jim Carrey movie I love is The Truman Show.
accordingtomel: *nods* You're absolutely right. He would be great with physical comedy. But I also agree that I don't know that I'd want to see Bradley in a Jim Carrey type movie either.
I actually have a lot of respect for Jim Carrey's serious roles - "The Truman Show", "The Majestic", "Number 23", etc. - because in those roles he actually demonstrates real acting ability.
Bradley, at least, has already demonstrated that he can act. Well. So perhaps he could play a role that allowed him to showcase both...? We should write him a script, LOL! ;)
feilongfan: I enjoy our little chat about Bradley's funny faces. It deserves its own post.
accordingtomel: Definitely!
So here you are: Bradley-the-funny-face thread. I also temporarily changed the header of my journal to honour this post. It looks too crowded, but it will be fine for a few days.
