Down to the wire

Crap.

I had a 68 in my Precalculus class, which was disappointing. I had a test coming up, and then my final is a week from today. I figured, okay, kick ass on this test and I'll at least be passing going into the final. I got my test back today, and I got a 46. Which dropped my average to a 50. Going into the final.

So Monday I'm gonna go grovel and see how I can possibly pass. I don't wanna lose HOPE or anything crappy like that just because of some math class. But a week from now I'll be done with this semester, and that's a source of relief. That's also the day I'll be moving into my new place. I'm already registered for Fall Semester, I have my summer work schedule lined up, and all that's left is surviving the next couple of days, which won't be too bad since I have the house to myself this weekend. Why...?

Because my grandfather is turning 80. Fucking 80 years old. I can't believe he's that old. If you had asked me a week ago "Hey, man, how old is your grandfather?" I would've said 65 or something. Anyway, my grandfather is turning 80 and so my family is going to Durham to celebrate, although I can't fathom what an 80 year old's birthday party would be like. If I make it to 80, mine will be crazy. You're invited, I guess.

I'm out.
