Hello again. Good to have an internet connection. I think my main problem as of now is the fact that my computer is running like the piece of shit I'm just now realizing it is. Maybe it's just windows.
I guess I'll get a job to get a new computer. But then I won't have any money with which to rent an apartment over the summer. But then I don't have any money anyway. So maybe I end up living with my parents longer than expected. I hope not.
I talked with my cousin, who is a real estate agent, yesterday. He went to State and knows all about Atlanta openings so he's keeping an eye out for some deals. But then I don't have any money. I actually sold a textbook just to scrape by this month. I'm living with my aunt and uncle during the week Mon-Thurs and at home on the weekends. My weekdays are pretty laid back, and I enjoy the opportunity to have at least an inkling of independence here in Dunwoody. Because living here is free, and the only other option in my parents' eyes is to go back to the dorms after my one year is up. Since the dorms are so goddamn cheap, right?
Basically I go days at a time not seeing people I know. Other than family, I mean. Sure, I have my car. But when you don't have any money, where the fuck can you afford to drive it?
I guess I'm in a bad mood. Not the first time this week. Or couple of weeks. I skipped class today in order to drive back home to get my phone charger for my dead cell phone on the off chance that I might get an important phone call. No bones.
I really hate complaining. But then I really hate the incidents leading up to this complaining, and that hatred overrides the former. Over the weekend someone found it in their kind heart to offer me a line of methamphetamine. Since I'm not a depraved lunatic, I turned it down, but the concept sent me into a bad mood and, let's face it, I haven't had much to help me recover. With the exception of last night.
I went to see An Albatross at the Drunken Unicorn. The opening bands were Me and Him Call It Us, Aqui, and The Cinema Eye. With the exception of the first opening band, they all had spectacular stage presence to back up their musical talent, and I had a great time. Aqui took me by complete surprise. Probably one of the best live performances I've seen, but then who am I to judge? Also, I managed to duck out between sets and chug a Mai Tai which was absolutely delicious. Thanks, Hunter.
So for the one or two of you for whom I still waste my time posting, that's what's up. I'm not even going to comment on the other bullshit. It's a waste of time and time is money.
Nap time.
