Frankly, German movies are starting to scare the hell out of me. Like the one I saw yesterday: Fear Eats The Soul. If you're reading this intensely enough that you want to know the director, too bad, I forgot. The GSU library case said the movie was in B+W, but color played a big role... anyway, it was about an old German woman who meets a young Arab in a bar and ends up marrying him despite the rumors that all Arabs sleep around and generally don't care about being cultured. "Ali" then fulfills the stereotype throughout the rest of the movie before being hospitalized for a stress-related ulcer. Depressing?
