(no subject)
I deleted a whole bunch of my userpics today. They were driving me crazy and I had a lot of office ones and I want new shiny ones. So that's my mission for a little while tonight.
I went out today to get foil and gold paint for my halloween costume and ended up buying The Devil Wears Prada, except in the older non-movie book cover, The Dead Zone, because a.) Stephen King b.) Christopher Walken c.) $9.99. It now makes me want to reread the book except its back at home. I also watched The Shining today. The older version with Jack Nicholson and I want to read that again too except my copy was handed down from my dad and like 100 pages have fallen out and its held together by an elastic band. I wouldn't want that mailed, it's quite precious. And if anything happened to it, it would be a disaster because I'm really strict when it comes to book condition. No creasing spine no bending pages, if it has a jacket I'll hold onto it, or I may have other copies of the book which is the case with my Lord of the Rings. So you'll get the slightly newer one. This book business also ties into my mom needing to read Wicked before we go see it.
Also I found my Christmas present. Well one of them I guess, I'm not really big on Christmas and gifts as in I don't care for them and normally ask for nothing. But this year being on a budget, having no money, etc. etc So anyways I want this absolutely amazing book that goes into detail about Wicked the Musical, making it and stuff with the different preformers. And there is the complete transcript. I looked at today at Chapters and was in awe. If it wasn't $54.00 I would have bought it a flash but its gorgeous.
Also I think I'm going to see Phantom with Chantel when it comes, so exciting! Soon I'll have seen more musicals then I'll have gone to concerts...or it'll be tied.
The Colts won today, as Lyla Garrity would say the Broncos got "spanked". Heeehee, it was actually a really good game and I got to watch it so plus plus. This also meant when I was talking to my mom my dad refused to speak with me for fear of me gloating. I would have only a little because they really pulled it together in the second half. Also because I am the biggest procrastinator, or have stuff half finished/started was going to write sga john/liz about this game but didn't want to set anything in stone because umm if i wrote indy winning and they lost I would die of great shame. So now whenever I get my word I can finish it.
Sad news - Valentino ran off the track or something so he fell back to 13th place and that means he couldn't beat Hayden and win the championship and apparently Hyaden cried whenever it happened and he had his moto gp world champion jersey/shirt thingy one. Jesus, I mean grow a pair man. I mean Valentino's bike has been fucking around all season and you don't see him crying. Except I wouldn't mind because it would be hot and it would just look like sweat....and all this talk or type is making me melt.
Nothing else really I bought Season Two of the X-Files because oh my $29.99 and I haven't finished the first season and I'm going to the other mall that we have here on Tuesday to investigate the H&M (because it just opened) and guarenteed I'll be getting Season Three. I swear its DD and GA fault. Honest.
Anyways maybe I'll watch a couple episodes now or look for icons. I really want to start The Devil Wears Prada so I can be reading three books here and have two books at home that I'm reading. AND I'm waiting for a commentary from SG-1 Prometheus Unbound because CLAUDIA! and I really have an unnatural obsessive love for audio commentaries. Honest it's the way to my heart.
