A melange

Punk is down in LA for E3, leaving me home alone with the baby. It's totally awesome that my last week of work I'm coming in late (having to get Lilia ready by myself) and then leaving early (so I can get her from daycare by 5:45).

He's staying in the Beverly Hilton. The bathroom has a TV in it.

Paris Hilton has a mobile video game coming out, so she'll be at E3. Punk is determined to get a picture of her. He already got one of himself with the Powerpuff Girls. Linkage coming soon.

We're really bad about housework and have only been doing the dishes on an as-needed basis. Last night I got fed up and loaded the dishwasher. While it was running I got hungry. We also don't have much food in the house since I was just shopping for me this week and I planned poorly. The result of all of this was me eating bran flakes out of a dog-gnawed Tupperware bowl with a Teletubbies spoon.

Lilia's doing well. She's suddenly eating way more at daycare, including cereal morning and afternoon. I'm glad. Maybe now she'll start catching up in size and I can stop worrying about THAT. I, of course, won't stop worrying about kidnappings, airborne illnesses, choking... I'm stopping now. We bought her an exersaucer the other day. It's hilarious. She discovered that she can beat the bendy flower against the spinny thing with beads in it so we hear *bonkbonkbonkbonk*. It's cute and not loud enough to be annoying. She can roll front to back but not back to front (weird) and can sit unassisted for a short time. She can sit with support for ever. I've got some pics of us from Indiana that I need to upload that'll illustrate my previous post about other babies (but not YOUR babies. Seriously, everyone who reads this has normally proportioned babies, not these giant lumps).

Oh! I got a new job. The only reason I started looking was because I was spending way too much time on my commute and not with my baby. Suddenly there were multiple companies interested who wanted to pay me more. I took an international accounting position at Vidiator Technology in Bellevue. It should cut my commute roughly in half, save me 75% on parking, a buttload on insurance premiums (they pay 100%) plus give me a large raise. w00000000000t! I hope I like it. I will definitely miss my coworkers.

I may have more to say later but I currently have an appointment with my breast pump.
