little note on entry just posted: i used the autopost feature and set it to nonsensical. nonsensical it is, but still rather fun.
in other news, i found a pic of this one Romanian male model and decided i needed him on my desktop. well of course the pic was rather tiny, so I had to figure out what to do with it to turn it into something desktop-worthy. which turned into a full-fledged photoshop project (only my second wallpaper ever and much more complicated than the first) on reasons to love Romania. (Reasons include said male model, Dragos Stoian, plus former europop/techno band OZone of numa numa fame (userpic for this post is band member Arsenie), Dracula's castle, and possibly the fact that I am acquainted with descendants of the former empress.)
in other other news, i start school in exactly 2 weeks, whereas my sister starts middle school today and my mom starts her middle school spanish teaching job today. let the boredom commence. (if you have a car and license, are still in town, and have some free time, i hereby bestow upon you the duty of rescuing me from this prison, aka Condo of Boredom.)
in other other other news, i could possibly be getting a work-study job as a spanish translator for a prenatal clinic. i find out today. otherwise, i might be tutoring ESL kids. we'll see. (as wonderful as kids are, i have a difficult time working with them because i get too overwhelmed. this is why i greatly admire teachers; i could never do it myself.)
