Shaved my head
with horse clippers. Last night, Kathleen, the other working student, and I shaved our heads. We have been talking about it for a while, but I wanted to hold off for locks for love. I had about a 6 inch ponytail, but it would have taken me another semester before I could have donated. Who wants to cut all their hair off in the middle of winter? And Kathleen had been wondering about a shaved head. So, in the middle of evening chores, I told her let's do it tonight. And she agreed, so we talked about what it'd be like, and she started second guessing her choice, so we did it right then.
We used guards, so we're not bald. Kathleen's is shorter than mine, it's about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. Mine is over an inch, since the 1" guards didn't exactly do their job. I love it! It's just like last time I cut it, only it took so much less time. It's so cool under a helmet, or in the summer heat. I can't wait to go swimming with it.
So Chelsea gets back Monday, then there's a show that weekend, and a show after that. We have a busy schedule, but I'm enjoying the "time off."
