Stephen made sure to get me up in time to clean the kitchen for his teacher to come over and made sure the table was cleared so he could do schoolwork ............ then he went back to sleep and missed school. He isn't gonna get a better deal than to get to stay home and not have to have class until 1:30 PM - and only have to go from his room to the kitchen to do it - and only have class twice a week. I can't prop him up with a stick in the chair and make him learn, though.
Ginnie is having anxiety attacks because Phil isn't coming right home from work - hours worth of not right home.
Brian is...... well, Brian.
But I'm not freaking out like I always do. I keep slipping into this "They really seem to have a problem" mode rather than "I have to fix this NOW" mode. I still think about ways to assist, but only reasonable assistance, not "fixing"
Dunno if I'm burnt out on family life or just gaining perspective.
