A Message From Beyond the Grave
Admit it- you all thought I died (or you forgot that I existed)
Difficult though it is to believe, I have acheived the impossible- I have found internet access from the remote depths of India! My inbox has ~1500 notifications, I have about a million emails, and life is good.
Because I'm an LJ addict, I made sure I wouldn't be able to miss anything too drastically important. But *sadface* The Student Prince is almost over, and I haven't even started it yet! I have received various messages from people telling me to read it. But flist, I CAN'T! *cries*
I'll be back in a week, this post is mainly for the benefit of inscrupulaties, who kept whining at me to post, because apparently, I live for her amusement.
I keep writing fic on the notes of my iPhone, only my family is nosy, so I keep having to delete it. I can't save it anywhere, I have no international data package, so I'm pretty much going mad.
Why is it that people always write extra-long fic right when I stop being able to read it? I've been paying attention to all of your concerns and rambling, guys, but I can't reply to them. Again, grr India.
I actually had to resort to reading books, something that I haven't done in a while now. Don't get me wrong, I love reading, and I used to get in trouble constantly in school for reading and not paying attention to my teachers, but these past few years, I haven't had too much time to read. When I do have time, I read fic and watch TV instead. I'm such a bad person :)
I have been following FIFA with a rather violent intensity. Poor Germany for losing, but at least now I can feel no guilt in rooting for the Netherlands. Nothing against Spain, you know, but I really was looking forward to seeing a Germany vs Netherlands final. If only Mueller (sp?) could play.
When I come back, a full list of my grievances about India will be posted for any who may be even partially interested (I doubt most of you really care). I love my family, but dear god, it gets boring here after a few weeks. Not to mention my family is ultra-orthodox, so no cursing, no slashing, no tv, and I have to sneak around to use LJ and Facebook.
I haven't seen any of my shows, so PLEASE don't spoil me on anything that's happened in the last three weeks, I am going to get home and marathon everything. I miss you all, and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things when I get back!
