[The feed clicks on to show a... very different Kurt greeting Adstringendum today. Instead of his normal, over the top outfits, usually complete with bow ties and something that really shouldn't work together but somehow oddly does... he's wearing a simple, gray t-shirt. And jeans.]
As much as I would rather not have to stoop to this level, as I find the very thought barbaric and utterly repulsive for someone like me, if there's one thing that movies and video game commercials have taught me over the years, it's that in places like this, where gritty survival is key, those that refuse to adapt and instead run around complaining about a lack of nail polish are usually the ones who... "get it" first.
[He pauses, looking tired all of a sudden, and... vaguely guilty, almost. After all, he just described himself to a T.] So while my last plea to the network was half-hearted and the answers dismissed for the most part, recent... events have me rethinking things.
If anyone has the patience to try and teach me some self defense, or even has some spare weapons they could teach me to use, I would appreciate it. While I know those of us without "powers" or "magic" are virtually sitting ducks at times, I don't doubt that even a basic knowledge will help.
[He reaches forward, then, presumably to turn off the PCD, before pausing, and sighing heavily, before adding on one final message:] Also, I'm afraid that Adstringendum is doomed to suffer the horrors of fashion disasters from now until the end of time.
